About CCI

Every Morning You Wake With A Chance Because You Have A Choice.

Who are we? A good question and like many entities Career Choice Institute was born out of one person’s idea and from acorns to oak trees grow. Leigh Sargent founded a company in 1982 after landing in the US from Australia via England working on a project that went south shortly after. Wishing to stay in the States for the foreseeable future, Leigh founded a manufacturing company that morphed itself into a respected Aerospace Composites Company which he sold in 2017.

After a retirement sabbatical, including some boredom, Leigh launched Career Choice Institute working with partners to support high school students to navigate into an enjoyable and successful career, something by chance Leigh did beyond unimaginable success from humble beginnings.

CCI’s goal is to take away the sheer luck Leigh had falling into a career unbeknown to him at the time that he had been training for since an early age. Trusting luck is not what you want, finding the career that allows you to maximize your natural aptitudes, that you enjoy and are compensated according to your contribution is a target worth the effort to hit the bullseye. The rest of your life will depend upon this important decision amongst few others.
